I completed my MD in Pediatrics in 2021, followed by a two-year fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology, specializing in kidney health care for children, from 2023 to 2025. Currently I am working as Assistant Professor in Department of Pediatrics at Rajiv Gandhi Medical College & Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital, Kalwa since August 2025. I have recently started conducting special pediatric nephrology OPD in the evening hours in Chembur.
I am well qualified in treating all forms of kidney and urinary tract related disorders in children. The disorders I manage includes Nephrotic syndrome, Glomerulonephritis (Nephritic syndrome), Urinary tract infection, Congenital anomalies of Kidney and urinary tract (CAKUT e.g. hydronephrosis, single kidney, obstruction, cystic kidneys, vesicoureteric reflux, dysplastic kidneys etc.), Enuresis (Betwetting), incontinence (no bladder control) and all sorts of voiding disorders (increased frequency, urgency, painful micturation etc) including interpreting Uroflowmetry and Urodynamics, Polyuria, Hematuria, Proteinuria, Kidney stone, Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) including End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD), Renal metabolic disorders and tubulopathies like Renal tubular acidosis, Bartter syndrome, Diabetes insipidus etc.
My expertise also includes management of acute kidney injury and providing acute peritoneal dialysis, acute hemodialysis, SLEDD and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT). I also manage cases of chronic kidney disease along with those in end stage kidney disease requiring maintenance renal replacement therapy including maintenance hemodialysis and continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis and also kidney transplant.
I am skilled in securing acute hemodialysis catheters, acute peritoneal dialysis catheter and performing kidney biopsy.
I have keen interest in metabolic disorders of kidney and genetics too.
